Oracle OpenWorld 2011
Oracle OpenWorld once again promises to be the biggest and best technical conferences to attend. There will be tens of thousands of attendees, thousands of sessions and hundreds of demonstrations all focused on Oracle technologies. More information can be found at www.oracle.com/openworld. If you are attending this year, send us an email so we can set up a time to meet you at the conference.
Vlamis Presentations on Sunday and Thursday
We are scheduled to present "Fast and Complex BI Analysis with Oracle OLAP" on Sunday, October 2, at 9am in room Moscone West - 2003 and on Thursday, October 6 at 3pm in the Intercontinental Ballroom A. The presentation will explore how new features in Oracle OLAP 11g can enhance the performance of Oracle-platform-based data warehouses. The data warehouse can then provide your original data and additional measures through standard SQL to any reporting solution you wish. The presentation will focus on using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (and the new map views in 11g) and Excel as clients of the data warehouse. We look forward to "bookending" the Oracle OpenWorld conference on Sunday and Thursday and seeing you in one or both of the presentations.
NAVTEQ Booth
While at OpenWorld, you can meet with members of the Vlamis team at the NAVTEQ booth, located at Moscone South Booth #2026. As part of our reseller partnership with NAVTEQ, we are assisting them with their marketing efforts. Stop by and talk to us about how we can implement a mapping solution into your business intelligence applications.
OLAP Reception
This is THE social event for OLAP at Oracle OpenWorld. There will be members of product management and expert consultants on hand for you to meet with. Vlamis is co-hosting this exclusive reception with Simba. The reception will be early evening on Tuesday and will be very near to the convention center. Please send an e-mail to sales@vlamis.com for an invitation that includes the specific time and location. We will also be handing out invitations at our presentation on Sunday and at the NAVTEQ booth on Monday and Tuesday.
