IOUG Live! A Report from Orlando
Dan and Chris recently returned from the IOUG Live! conference in Orlando. Between the two of them, VSS gave a full-day training course, presented three sessions, moderated a roundtable discussion on business intelligence, and chaired the business intelligence SIG meeting. There was a great deal of interest in Oracle-based technologies, especially for data warehousing and business intelligence. For those of you new to our newsletter from the conference, welcome and thank you for contributing to such a successful conference. For those of you that weren't able to attend, next year's conference is in Toronto April 18-22, 2004. You can find the papers we presented at the conference under Technical Papers off of our home page.
i-d6 Selected as French VSSBA Distributor
We are pleased to announce the addition of i-d6 (officially DSA Systemes until June, 2003) to the growing list of VSS Business Analyzer resellers. Read all about this in our press release.
New Look for Vlamis Software Web Site
We have recently revamped the home page on our web site at www.vlamis.com. Look for a new streamlined style and updated content as we revamp all of our web pages over time. We will be incorporating more and more Oracle Portal technology in our web site as time goes on.

OSA/OFA v6.4 Viewlets
As mentioned in our April newsletter, VSS is encouraging all OSA and OFA customers to upgrade to the latest release, version 6.4. To aid you all in seeing what's new in 6.4 and how the web features have caught up (and sometimes surpassed) the Windows features, we have made the following available on our web site:
Please contact us if you have any questions on OSA or OFA 6.4.
VSSBA Thin Client Viewlet
As previously announced, VSSBA 1.5 has a thin client version in addition to several new features. This version requires no installation on the client PC and runs with HTML in a web browser. We now have a viewlet of this version of the product that shows some of the capabilities. Check out our viewlet for a quick 2-minute demo or call us to schedule a more in-depth demo today!
Dan Vlamis will be presenting at this year's ODTUG 2003 meeting. If you are attending and would like to schedule a meeting or demonstration with Dan, please send us an e-mail.
Sessions involving Vlamis Software:
ODTUG 2003 is from June 22 through 26 in Miami Beach, Florida. See www.odtug.com/2003_conference.htm for more information about the conference.
